Michelle is a mixed media and alcohol ink artist. She has been creating all of her adult life. She really became an artist when her chronic pain came on after the birth of her daughter, and she started teaching art in her second grade class.
Art is a great distraction and helps her mental health. Michelle is on disability but gets to work with dialysis patients and mental health patients in the Samaritan Arts Care Program as a visual artist.
She is currently serving on the board of the Corvallis Art Guild and is really enjoying exhibiting her art, teaching, and selling her art at local art events and galleries. Michelle grew up in Corvallis and lives in Blodgett with her husband, who is an artist as well.
