Kristin is inspired by color. She loves the subtleties and nuances that can be achieved by blending colors together and expressing form through them.
While Kristin studied art in college, it wasn't until her two children started painting and drawing at the Corvallis Waldorf School that her artistic passion was rekindled. She began to devote more time and effort to her artistic endeavors and learning from other artists.
Kristin enjoys trying different mediums and techniques and exploring the possibilities that they offer. She is particularly drawn to watercolors and the techniques of “wet on wet” and “veil painting”.
