Annelie throws pottery on the wheel to feel the clay move like a supple song under her fingers. Carved into freshly thrown pieces are the mountains and unfurling green life of the Willamette Valley that she calls home.

Mugs come off her pottery wheel most often because she crafts wares not just to enjoy with one's eyes, but with all the senses as one savors a favorite drink.

Annelie also has a deep love of horses, so clay often takes shape through her fingers as these frolicking figures.
